    Ok. BMW. Anything else?

I can only think of ways to get you a nice red BMW (Is that an M3 or 330i?)..I can't actually do it. I am all talk. lol...to shut me up, promise to let me drive around the block when you get it? he he.

Four Cotton Rolls And A Water Pipe
Yup...you read that right. What am I talking about? Well, yesterday I had a dentist appt. to get my temporary crown replaced with a permanent crown and in that procedure, I had four cotton rolls and a water pipe in my mouth. I sat there thinking to myself, 'I must look really pretty sitting here with my mouth open, with all kinds of things in there and cool splatter goggles'. Yup, I looked absolutely gorgeous. And all because I had pink goggles on :)
BTW, the dentist is good-looking, so it gave me immense pleasure to sit in his chair and say 'ah' ;)

I'm telling you. That's what makes it TOTALLY worth it. My dental hygienist, while not the greatest looker in the world is really nice and conversational. I love that I can go to the dentist and sit down for an hour and do nothing. Very relaxing.

As for looking pretty...piki it dont matter what's in your mouth [HAW! DIRTY JOKE] you'd still be pretty. [Yes, you can smack me in DecMEMber for that one]

I was gonna comment, but after reading Pari's, I just nodded my head, tch-tch and went away.

  • At 12:53 PM, Blogger Paresh

    Mission accomplished.

  • At 2:27 PM, Blogger Piki

I shall ignore all that and just say thank you :)
Although, noone else but you picked up on that. Just for that, you are big kutta!!! I said I would ignore it, but I changed my mind. (Even though I might have set up myself for that).
And Sachin, you? you? Just for saying that you couldn't top Paresh's comment, you are a kutta too. Hey, its all about association. :)

  • At 3:46 PM, Blogger Tamanna

yes, so conversational paresh practically tells her what underwear I am wearing along with where I bought it from.

    Jaan, you're dutty.

  • At 5:11 PM, Blogger Paresh

:) What's funny is that piki's actually telling me that she wrote it and just knew I'd pick up on it. Oh well... now she wants a BMW. forget duttiness... she's just asking for a smack upside the head to reality now!

My little angels...

This morning, D looks at me and says 'Mama, remember the time you had to take Papa to the hosible?'. I just smiled and nodded, thinking, how cute is that!!! Hosible. Err...she meant Hospital. She makes it sound like such a violent place.
Another time, she was sitting with me on the sofa and suddenly yelled 'Mama, there is a hole in your neck'!!!! I jumped up and ran to the mirror, and saw the MOLE on my neck. My daughter sure has a way with words :)
And then there is my little one, the little midget, who thinks she is the Queen of the house. Walks around like she owns the place and talks like she is the boss....she will climb up on me, while I am sitting on the sofa, try to wiggle herself into the tiny little space left, and yell 'Mama, MOVE'. And she is only 20 mths. *Sigh*. I can hardly wait to see what the teenage years will be like.....
(PS: The pictures above were taken on the PA TPk with my cellphone. Hence, not too clear. But, I love the poses)

Just think, you're going to have people in December who'll encourage that behavior!

  • At 5:56 PM, Blogger SachinRB

    Paresh: Ain't that the truth?

Priti Di: Those pics have come out beautifully. Nice. Can't wait to see the kids. Your post reminded me of the kid in Fanaa who goes "Hittototomas" and "Dependiddle".

Nope, that's not a parking lot

So, this is how part of my Saturday afternoon was spent. On PA Turnpike. A vehicle accident had shutdown both lanes on the Turnpike. And traffic was at a complete stand-still. I have never got out of the car, and strolled around in the middle of the highway. Never!!! But, like they say, there is a first time for everything. We were stuck there for 45 mins. The girls had fun though, walking on the road, talking to the other kids stranded there. Lesson learnt from this? Always have food in the car. Always.

Hey there ...welcome back to posting. You know since you haven't in a while :)

From the pic, it seems like a pretty day to stroll on the highway, but I am sure lack of food would make that scenery visual dissapear in a pop.

You call this offensive???
As I was reading news today, the following article caught my eye:
Breast isn't best: readers tell US parenting magazine - Yahoo! News.
People are finding this magazine cover offensive!!! Why? It's just a pitcure of a baby nursing. Nothing wrong with that!!! There are worst, offensive images out there. What about that magazine cover of Demi Moore baring her naked pregnant tummy? What about actresses showing their cleavage on the red carpet at Grammy time or Oscars? What about the barely there outfits or the skimpy outfits? That is not offensive???
People need to grow up. This is a very natural thing for a baby. And there is nothing offensive about it. The magazine caters to young mothers. Oh wait, maybe the crazies didn't notice the title - BabyTalk!!!

I agree with you. It's sad that an innocent picture like this would actually be termed offensive. I think it's very apt for the article they have in there about the need for more breast-fed babies.

The husband's in question who are "uncomfortable" certainly weren't complaining while watching porn last night were they?

About breast feeding in public, if it makes you umcomfy to see a mom feed her child, then look away.

  • At 3:27 PM, Blogger Paresh

We find that offensive yet will fly a big ass picture of an aborted fetus over a large city - how it that no offensive.

    Bah.

  • At 3:30 PM, Blogger Tamanna

Besides, it makes me mad to hear about how people want women behave a certain, interfere with their choices for birth control and abortion. Now, we are expected to be "considerate" to others while feeding. I'm sorry I'm mad at this behaviour. Leave my choices to me thank you.

Finally, someone does something!!!
Read on Yahoo news this morning that a group of immigrants have filed a lawsuit against the US, for long delays in their citizenship applicants. About time that someone does something about this problem. Immigration folks can sit on applications forever. I mean, serisouly, how long does it take to stamp a piece of paper????!!
